Step into a world where modern elegance meets heartfelt romance. Courtney and Nick’s ceremony at Hotel Hartness beautifully blended impactful color, minimalistic design, and meaningful details to create a luxurious yet personal celebration. From custom floral installations to sentimental touches, every element of this day told a story of timeless love.

Courtney and Nick’s ceremony at the stunning Hotel Hartness was a beautiful celebration of modern minimalism, infused with personal details and thoughtful design. With Honey + Thyme Events orchestrating every detail, this intimate day was a reflection of refined luxury, meaningful moments, and breathtaking architecture.

For the design, we leaned into impactful blues, soft greens, and neutral white hues, blending sophistication with an airy modern southern charm. The ceremony took place in Hotel Hartness’s Grand Courtyard, where we created a custom deconstructed floral statement piece that complemented the venue’s striking architectural backdrop. Alternating and staggered aisle markers guided guests toward a dramatic end-of-aisle floral arrangement, offering a fresh and contemporary twist on classic ceremony decor.

To enhance the natural mountain surroundings, we introduced ceramic pots and mixed textured elements throughout the design, treating the courtyard like a living work of art. The modern hydrangea floral styling brought a timeless elegance to the setting, while subtle garden touches maintained the spirit of the space.

Personal touches made the day even more unforgettable. During their emotional first look, Courtney and Nick exchanged custom-written vows, a private lakeside moment that set the tone for the celebration ahead. Guests also experienced a special nod to the couple’s love of travel, with custom wine bottle labels highlighting memories from their favorite destinations. In one final surprise, Courtney gifted Nick with a classic getaway car for their grand exit — a memorable ending to a day full of heart.

From the architecture to the design details, every moment at Hotel Hartness exuded modern romance and effortless sophistication. We are honored to have been part of Courtney and Nick’s timeless and idyllic day alongside an incredible team of vendors!
